A southern Sudan where democracy is a way of life; where political power is exchanged through ballot box in a free and fair election.

The Ministry is manadated to:

1. to be in charge of governement business in the assembly (Prsesidential decree 26th Jan 06)
2. to develop and promote fedreral multi-party democratic systems and good governance
