Recruitment of civil servants is under South Sudan recruitment Board (SSRB). SSRB is a board of committee formed and mandated to carry out recruitment in the government institutions. First, the institution concerned advertise the position to be filled by successful candidates. Then the applications are send to the South Sudan Recruitment Board for processing to schedule the interview.

The results from SSRB are sent back to institution concern for final appointment. Finally, the final result are then sent to the Ministry of Labour and Public service who then process the appointments.
