About the Center

The Center for Democratic Governance, Policy Research and Parliamentary Studies (CDPPS) is established by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs of the Government of Southern Sudan. It is a critical institution that provides knowledge and impetus for action in deepening democratic governance in Southern Sudan. The centre has an important role to play in consolidating the intellectual infrastructure of the South which was fragmented by decades of war.

Vision

To be a leading institution of knowledge on democratic governance, policy research & best parliamentary practices in Southern Sudan.

Mission

To provide equality pubic policy and advice to the government and private sector by conducting objective research, policy analysis and creating awareness to strengthen democratic governance and parliamentary practices in Southern Sudan so as to contribute towards achieving the national development goals and democracy.
